As the semester comes to a close, the documentation of digital doodles will likely die, however, behind the scenes and in projects here and there, they will appear and persist. I am very glad I chose to delve deeper into the world of digital art and drawing. I can actively see how useful this skill will be in my future as I have already benefitted from it throughout various school projects. There will always be more to learn and different methods and perspectives to understand and try, looking forward I will continue to doodle and develop my process to be more effective. I will strive to use these skills/tools to assist in my future as a teacher.

Conglomerated Collages

Bringing it all the way back to when I named my site, Conglomerated Education, I wanted my final inquiry post to honor this; conglomerating though collage.

Conglomerated Works

Using the work I have made through this inquiry project.

Conglomerated Styles

Using the various styles I have used in my inquiry process.

Logo!

Since I have been developing my digital doodling skills I have finally decided to make a logo for myself and my site.

While creating this I was having a small identity crisis as I tried to figure out who I am and what components make my identity(ies). I knew I wanted to keep it in something similar to a clip art style, so I had the ‘how’, but then had to figure out the ‘what’…

Brain Storming

  • Tree of knowledge.
  • Light bulb.
  • Open book.
  • A conglomerate of little doodles

Interests/Identity:

  • Rhythmic gymnastics (ribbon?).
  • Sewing.
  • Baking/cooking.
  • Cat.
  • Heart, sparkles, swirls.
  • Books.
  • Hockey (stick?).
  • Flowers.
  • Bass clef.

Symbolism:

I eventually ended up using the light bulb design to signify my many ideas. As shown in the adjacent doodle, after looking at it I could have done a heart shaped bulb, but I do still like the simplicity of the normal bulb.

The plant was to show my love for nature and that sometimes those ideas are overrun and chaotic, yet sparkles to show my positivity towards life and appreciation for the little pretty things.

The butterfly image represents many aspects of ADHD including rapid mental movements. It also reflects the ability of people with ADHD to adapt and transform to life’s challenges. From a confined, limiting cocoon to radiant, liberated wingspan.

Lets take a look back at (some) of my works;

Final Thoughts

Yes I did kind of stray off track from the original plan, but that is what art is all about; finding creative outlets to represent knowledge and experiences in different ways. Though I always was thing from the perspective I formed at the beginning, and bouncing off of ideas from the exploration that followed. Overall, I learned a lot and progresses though out. Looking back at all of the works I did during this process, I am proud.
